Travel Ontario Project TFJ2O
Ontario-Yours to Discover!
Ontario holds many hidden treasures for locals and tourists alike to explore. In this project, students will work independently to select and research a particular region or city in our province (please see the sign up list for the choices available). Your research will target interesting facts about the area, festivals and special events that are held in the region and will showcase a diverse list of activities that are available for visitors. Bonus marks will be given to individuals who can also source a minimum of two different culinary related activities in their region. Using the information you have collected, you will prepare a one page brochure, commercial, billboard or poster board that might be used to market your region. All projects will be displayed in the classroom and will be evaluated by fellow students. Prizes will be given to the top three projects. Remember, you are trying to pitch your region to potential visitors, be creative!
