Brownies
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups of flour
6 tablespoons of cocoa
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup of butter
2 cups of brown sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1. Measure the dry ingredients into a small bowl and stir to combine.
2. In a separate bowl cream the butter and brown sugar.
3. Add the eggs and the vanilla and beat well.
4. Gently fold in the dry ingredients and place in an 8x12 inch pan that is sprayed and lined with parchment paper.
Bake 30-40 minutes in a 350F oven
Chocolate Icing
1/2 cup of cocoa
1/4 cup milk
½ cup melted butter
4 cups of icing sugar
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and beat with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
