Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/3 cup butter, melted
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
3 bananas, ripe, mashed
1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions:
- Grease 12 muffin cups or line with paper muffin liners.
- Mix together the flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
- In another bowl, beat together melted butter, sugar, bananas and eggs.
- Add bananas and vanilla and beat until smooth.
- Stir flour mixture into banana mixture, just until moistened.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Spoon banana muffin batter into prepared muffin cups or liners.
- Top with a banana slice.
- Sprinkle with coarse sugar.
- Bake at 375°F for about 18 minutes, or until tops are lightly browned.
