Mushrooom Puff Pastry Tartlettes
Ingredients
3Tbsp butter
14 mushrooms, sliced
1/4 cup finely diced onion
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 cup heavy cream
salt and pepper to taste
fresh parsley, chopped
1 batch puff pastry dough
Directions
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté mushrooms with onions and garlic until tender. Pour in cream and bring to a boil.
Continue to stir mixture allowing it to reduce and thicken. Season with salt and pepper and chopped fresh parsley.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Roll the puff pastry dough into a large thin square (about 1/8 inch thick). Cut with round cutter and place in a greased mini muffin pan. Fill with the mushroom mixture. Bake the tartlettes for 20-25 minutes. When cooked, remove from the oven and place on a serving platter.
