Hearty Multigrain Bread
Ingredients
3/4 cup water
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sunflower seeds
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 tablespoon flax seeds
1 tablespoon millet
1 tablespoon quinoa
1 cup bread flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tablespoon dry milk powder
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 1/2 tablespoon yeast
Directions:
1. Mix together the water, yeast and brown sugar. Set aside for 5 minutes.
2. In a large bowl mix together the salt, seeds, flours, grains and milk powder.
3. Add the melted butter to the yeast mixture. Pour into the flour mixture and knead until all dry ingredients are incorporated. Turn out onto the counter and knead
well.
4. Allow to rise until doubled in size. Punch down. Shape loaf and allow to rise again until doubled in size. Bake at 375 degrees until golden brown and hollow
sounding when tapped.
