Pecan Pie Filling
Ingredients:
4 eggs
1 cup of brown sugar
3/4 cup of corn syrup
½ teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups chopped pecans
1/3 cup of pecan halves for decoration
1 pie shell
Directions:
1. Whisk together the eggs, sugar, corn syrup, salt and vanilla.
2. Stir in the chopped pecans. ( if you are a chocolate lover you could also stir in some chocolate chunks or chips)
3. Pour the filling into the pie shell and decorate with the pecan halves.
4. Bake for 45 minutes at 350F or until firm to touch.
