Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 cup butter or margarine melted
1 cup brown sugar packed
2/3 cup all purpose flour
4 cups coconut
2 cans sweetened condensed milk
Method:
Bottom Layer: Combine the first four ingredients. Pressed into a greased and parchement lined 9x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
Second Layer: Combine coconut with the condensed milk. Spread over the bottom layer. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes or until the edges turn light brown. Allow to cool before frosting.
Icing
4 cups icing sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine
6 Tbsp maraschino cherry juice
Method:
Beat all ingredients together adding a bit more juice if needed to make the icing soft enough to spread. Spread over the cooled bars. Slice the squares into 48 pieces.
