Apple Pie Filling (Raw)
Ingredients:
5 large apples peeled and sliced
½ cup of brown or white sugar
½ teaspoon of cinnamon
3 tablespoons of flour
1/4 cup butter, cut into pea sized pieces
Directions:
1. Place the apples in a bowl with the other ingredients.
2. Stir to combine. (At this point you could add a cup of berries to make apple berry pie).
3. Put the ingredients into a pie shell and top small knobs of butter
4. Cover with top pastry or with crumb topping.
5. Bake in a 350F oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour until the filling is simmering and the pie is golden.
